You can make these Bath ball bombs that fizz in the bath, just like the ones sold in stores for pennies on the dollar. They are a perfect gift for Christmas or Birthdays or to Putin spa gift baskets. to dress up for a gift place the finished bath ball bombs in a clear glass jar, and add a ribbon. Look at the lovely gift you have made!
You will need:
- 2 tbs. citric acid (you can get this at a pharmacy)
- 2 tbs. cornstarch
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 3 tbs. coconut oil (or any other emollient oil like almond, avocado or apricot kernel oil)1/4 tsp. fragrance oil
- 3-6 drops of food coloring (if desired)
- Paper cupcake cups
Directions
Place cornstarch, baking soda, and citrus acid into a bowl and mix well.
Place coconut oil into a small glass bowl, and add fragrance, and food coloring.
Slowly add oil mixture into dry ingredients and stir until well mixed.
Use a Scoop to help form up small amounts of the mixture and shape into 1″ balls.
Let the balls rest on a sheet of waxed paper for about 2 to 3 hours,
Place each ball into a paper candy cup to let dry/harden for 1 -2 days.
Be sure to store the bath bombs in a closed, air-tight container.
To enjoy, place 1 – 3 bath bombs into warm bath water.
